I figured that this was a racing question because it was in the racers forum . Any street car that I've owned I had both hooked together.None of you drive your race cars in cold weather right? The transmission is just like any other part of the drive train. Proper operating temperature must be obtained for it to function correctly. Maybe extended time in the staging lane is going that for you, maybe not? Chrysler recommended cooling threw the radiator transmission cooler first to obtain that correct operating temperature and then the aux to help maintain that temp.
same here , and a power steering cooler as wellI figured that this was a racing question because it was in the racers forum . Any street car that I've owned I had both hooked together.
I was taught to run the trans lines to the cooler first then through the rad to maintain the proper operating temp for the trans . this for a street vehicle or work vehicle .
