I've been slowly getting my 66 Charger back together and I ran into an interesting problem
I bought the engine & headlight harness from YearOne
Under hood harness installed just fine but the headlight harness seems to be about 18 inches too long. When compared to the original harness the connector if about 4 inches from the core support grommet but the new harness is much longer. about 18 inches too long. I had to double it over and zip-tie the extra it under the battery support.
Has anyone else run into this problem?
if so, what did you do?

They have been perfect duplicates for my '68 Coronet and '72 Duster.

My '69 coronets (M&H from YOne) was exact to the OE other than it came with fender mount signal wires that I just taped back.

My 67 R/T harness was spot on as well.

I have been dealing with M&H
I am mostly just trying to get me the pins so I can cut the wires off crimp new ends on and repin the connector

Let me post some pictures
Original harness end was 10.5 inches from the Y
New harness is 21 inches from the Y

No it seemed to catch them off guard
They said they make the wire harness from original blueprints
I am a little disappointed that I haven't heard back yet
I will call again later today they are 3 hours behind me

Did yours have the original part number tag to verify that it was the correct harness in the car to start with? Or that the part they made is the same part number that your car needs?

No original tags but as I pointed out to them. Their engine harness is the exact length of my old one. The connector is in the same place the old one was. The length of the light harness is the issue. There is no way to connect the two harnesses without looping the light harness up under the battery tray.
They have agreed to send me the wire ends so that I can shorten the light harness myself
As far as I am concerned, this is a happy ending and I was treated fairly.
This post is in case someone else runs into the same problem
