I think Mopar left them to rust, just looking to see what folks think, paint it cast, black, leave it rusty?

Bead or sand blast if you can then spray some clear on it and call it good. Will give a sibilance of OE without the oxidation. If you can't bead blast it there's some paint that looks like cast iron if this is the look your after.
