Rusty Superbird, CL not mine

That would be one nice bird to restore but 70k asking price is nuts.....The restoration cost to do this one right prices one out of the markets selling price currently...

I can’t believe there’s still one of these sitting outside rotting away.

Looking for 69 more Mopar fans to help me purchase that beauty for $1,000.00 Please PM me. I already have an original Superbird aluminum front spoiler in my parts stash, just need the rest of the vehicle now. Restoration will take place in Mexico for about half price.

Hahaha What name goes on that title? Lol

My name will be on the title for now, but everyone will actually have an equal interest in the vehicle, trust me. Or maybe we can strike up a legal addendum to add to the title with another 69 names. We can work it out somehow. Don't be left out, get in on the deal now before someone beats you to it.

Actually, only need about four other interested persons and I could arrange it.

That sounds like a great deal... (total sarcasm)... I agree with Moparnation’s assessment of the sale price... I assumed you were kidding with that original post.

I was kidding, but since I am kind of delusional anyway, I am going to ask around to see if there really are any interested co-buyers. I just emailed the seller in order to touch base and introduce myself.

One guy locally here in Mexico, has many classic cars restored already and he is from Mexico City. I will call on him first. He might be able to help finance "our" project.

believe me if it was worth putting that type of money on and then to resurrect GVS would be all over thats one big money Pitt even for the stupid rich

With no personal attachment to the car... I'll restore it with your money! Body and paint 100K and another 60k in parts + labour for mechanicals and interior.

I'll kick in $100 I just want a week with it when it's done !

40k would be a reasonable price if someone wanted to go through all of the grief
it would take to get-r-done. Parts are very expensive! 70k?, I don't think so.

Great optioned Superbird!
Great color combo
Yeah, if only!
You'd put $100K into it, it'd be worth the average selling price at auction...$180K
