Last week we had an 8AM DUI speeding and running a red light, striking another vehicle and killing its driver.

Yesterday, a 25 year old driver from Washington, on a revoked license with other vehicular violations, was here in Temecula, Calif, on our freeway. He was on meth, and struck a vehicle... so he ran. Two videos show this assclown speeding down the shoulder then crossing to the center lane, where he struck another vehicle, completely demolishing it, generating a 6-vehicle accident, one of which was shoved off the freeway, over an alley, striking a parking structure.

We need stricter punishment for DUI/DWI drivers. This one was just devastating, right down the freeway from us. Watch at your own risk.

Yeah, that is heavy. Was that the driver that stumbled across the divide and fell onto the grass to the left of the screen?
The truck looked to be doing almost double the speed of the other cars.

Yeah ridiculous huh?
The Law Enforcement can not control the Streets of LA
Street racing accidents every hour!

If somebody in my state kills somebody while drunk its a vehicular homicide charge with an automatic ten years.

Are your laws less than that?

Yep... he was trying to get away.. again. He didn't even hit his brakes until after he made contact.

To be honest. Thats not long enough. Its the darn two faced lawyers the protect those types And in the same breath convict someone with a petty crime

Unfortunately long prison sentences the only solution. The current attitude is just lowering the blood alcohol limit year by year as a solution.

Damn, that's down right crazy. I couldn't imagine driving down I-5 (?) minding my own biz and then get proctologized by a freakin chevy of all things, way messed up..

I agree on the 10 years not being enough for vehicular homicide.

I disagree with the statement that DUI penalties in general arent harsh enough.
If youre a Commercial Truck Driver you can get a dui in your caron your day off with .02
Thats pretty harsh IMO, too harsh.

We have the death penalty for murder....has it stopped murders?

I think there has been more than enough reminders of what drinking and driving can do. Or with the drugs that can be heavily mind altering.
Up here when you se someone driving in this manner They want you to report it.fill out a statement . Then they expect you to be a witness and if your on your game to remember all the details right down to T. If theres a flaw. They let these idiots go.

Yeah, that is heavy.

How do you prove either way? It may have stopped some. At the very least, the condemned won't murder again.

I saw this one on the news the other day - it just made me cringe and makes me even more paranoid driving the LA freeways. I dont know what the answer is but we see stuff like every week. How about the guy shooting the .45 mag while hanging out the window. These people have zero conscience about human life.

Thanks for the video Man! I really need to get a dash and rear camera. People are so unrespectful
of others on the road. We need to cover our asses.

Actually, CDL is half the legal limit, or .04 in most states in a CMV. That does not carry over to your personal vehicle while off duty.

We had another one just today. A 23 yo went down the wrong side of the freeway this morning and hit a lady head on. Demolished both cars at 100 mph. the lady was killed and the idiot is in critical condition. Happened as part of the ongoing weekly scene in the O.C.

.04 California Commercial. No matter what you are driving.
