Then Im misinformed.

For non commercial vehicles My state is trying to lower the dui limit to .06bal.
So from 3/4 drink to 1/2 drink. Even the staunchest of tools will admit that thats nothing more than a revenue grab. & a total dick move.

I totally agree. They are making it where if you have just 1 beer, you are busted. Yet states and cities are legalizing pot, and now magic mushrooms. I can drive much better after a beer then all whacked out on psychedelic shrooms.

All these cries for harsher sentences to stop drunk driving.
What sentence is more harsh than death? We still have murders.

I saw your comment as one so commonly spoken from the ANTI Death penalty crowd. If you meant it differently, I apologize.
 
I worked for G.E. for 35 years working at a lot of coal-fired and Nuke plants. No alcohol. Period!
No Pot. Period! Drug tests all the time. When I was in my twenties and my friends were having a
party and I smelled the pot come out, I had to leave because inhaling would mean I would flunk
the next drug test. Fired. PooF! No CBD oil, no psilocybin, Nada. By making all of this **** legal,
we're ruining this country. Just watch!
 
We had a kid killed 6 people in a van. High on meth. Drivers license suspended already. Driving stolen car. He is 21 years old. Got 42 years in prison. All because he tried to run and not get caught.

DUI deaths are actually down. But total deaths are up. Mandatory remote kill switch for all licensed street vehicles? Not sure if I have any solid suggestions?
 
Like gun laws, bad guys don’t obey the law. No license, drive anyway.
 
One thing I noticed the patrol cars were at the side of the road with lights rotating. Near the beginning So did they have a idea what was going on?

Yes... he had sideswiped another vehicle further up the freeway and was running. Police had the call and were heading to the scene already, from what I was told. You can see from the rear video that he was hauling *** down the shoulder for a bit.

If the cops were on his tail, even far back, it seems like they would have been at the crash almost immediately.

I have people pass me that fast at night frequently. Probably criminals
Simple enforcement of the speed limit here is non existent from what I can tell.
Perhaps the police are overwhelmed.
 
Just imagine the innocent 44year old woman who lost her life and others who were critically injured by this POS. I would have no problem if they put a bullet in his head. Won’t bring her back, but he will never have the chance to do it again.........

None needed!
I'm all for the death penalty. We already have plenty of laws. More laws won't stop these idiots. But when they are caught we have shyster lawyers and lenient judges who give the old slap on the wrist and the wink and nod to the lawyer and send the offender back out to do it again.

The call went in that there was a speeder on the freeway that hit someone, but they were not already pursuing him, he was fleeing that scene before the police arrived, from what I gathered.
