You are late to the party. We waited for you as long as we could....

Currently at $49,100.
Mercy....

Read on a Mopar group on facebook that someone local posted and looked at it and it's a bondo bucket. Top goes down, price goes up is a great theory and all, but you gotta have a car to start with at 40 plus thousand lol. More brains than money with some.

It is amusing that they have enough knowledge to know it is something to advertise nationally, but aren't bright enough to take photos of the engine or interior.

That's too high. Do convertibles omit GTX grill badge? God only knows whats underneath. If a true runner/survivor with minimal rust? Then price maybe right. But I wouldn't take that gamble. Auctions can get weird.

thought there is more to this story thought I read some where the owner came forward now

Doesn't say if the car comes with a title...or if the Sheriff's dept will assist with that....must be a dodgy car.

something else i noticed, the car is shown in 3 different places.
note the buildings are all different.
wheres the original pic of it abandoned?

why is the story so random that the friend tells?
and,i thought the original owner was paying for paperwork and getting the car back?

When it's a local municipality, the auction is a done deal. It sounds like all of the paperwork was done and if the winner pays with cash or a Cashier's Check, they will get car and clear Title upon payment.
June 24th is a long time off. When this hits USA Today and Good Morning America, somebody is going to know where this guy is.

The auction winner better hope they give it to its rightful owner...… otherwise i'm pretty sure he's going to get stuck with $58k of POS.

So if I'm reading the article correctly, the owner will soon be reunited with the car and the auction is KAPUT?
