I just saw over on Moparts that someone posted that the Days Inn South in Carlisle has changed ownership. So if you should have reservations for this location for the show weekend, I would strongly suggest calling the location directly to verify your reservation. The person who posted stated that they were not honoring previously made reservations, so you do not want to show up and discover that you do not have a location to stay for the weekend.
Thanks my friend, I will be registering the Durango tomorrow since I found a room in Hanover. The 65 aint makin it this year with the distance. Havent finished the BBlk nor located my gear vendors OD unit yet haha. But not wanting to miss Carlisle tho. I will be in the group FBBO 4sure. Update yall later today. Bryan

Yes, there is some truth to that. I made mine back in January, and not sure if I have a reservation at this time ? I've been planning on calling again to check, but have been side tracked with work lately...

Guys,

I am not sure the best place to post this, but I will be driving from Upstate South Carolina (Greenwood) to Carlisle this year in my Diesel Titan. I will be taking I-77 and I-81 all the way Friday then back Sunday. My truck will have whatever I pickup in swap on the way back but on the way up it will be empty. That being said, if a member needs to get something to the show (on my way) or something back from the show that isn't a fuel hog, I would be willing to transport it. I could meet up with you at the show if needed to discuss unless you want to plan ahead hit my PM. I don't want to sell a service since that is not my deal, but if my travel coincides, then why not?

As long as it does not appreciably change my driving time or fuel, I can help you get stuff down south.

PM if you want to plan.

Maybe Mike will let you make a pass with me at South Mountain:rolleyes:
That would be so Boss!! He may, hes a cool guy. You know him pretty well, rite? If you have belts, I can bring my helmet if needed. Haven't rode in a 63 since i was a kid. My Dad had one. Was *** ended a ton sittin in front the house one nite. We never heard a thing. Mom asked him the next morning before he left for work, "George! Why did you park in the neighbors front lawn last night" haha. It was a mess. Two days later he came home with a 64 Plym Sport Fury! Said he had the car for a month haha. Mom didn't know till then. Said he was workin to get the Wedge motor in it he had at work. It was a 413. Really miss that guy alot. Thanks for the offer, I take it in a min.

Bring your helmet! The harness on the passenger side are expired............:D

May I suggest anyone that will be coming to the tent kinda sign in here even if FBBO is not the club affiliation so we know how many people are actually coming. That way we would know how much we need to contribute to cover the tent.I would be than happy to give some cashish for the tent even if I'm only there a 1/2 hour!!:D

Ok, I am signed for the Showfield as of yesterday. I'm sporting the Durango this year and will be in that row. I can bring a foldable table if we need one, will pitch in for the Tent as well, also will have a few chairs, a cooler full of Beverages, snacks and whatever anyone can think we may need as extras. I will also bring an extra cooler of ICE (usually always needed) insect spray and some sunscreen. I Hope to meet a bunch of ya this time around, since last year was a bit confusing as I Reg as FBBO n couldn't seem to find a soul.... or I was too late to meet where everybody was. Was kinda hard to keep track of who was where, or maybe it was me. don't care, that was last year and will see yall soon. Let me know what is needed outside what I have covered!

Bryan,
I believe that we should be good on tables for the tent. If you want to bring a table to set up behind the Durango for your own use, that is probably not a bad ideal, but I have no ideal on how tight the spacing is between the rows.

If you feel like bringing your chair down to the meet & greet times, that might be good as we have 12 chairs to be staged at the tent at any given time for the weekend. I have no clue on how the turn-out will be.

Ice, water, beverages, candy, apples, bananas, etc will not be turned away for the guest to take advantage of. That is your call and what you feel comfortable with.

In looking at the roll call sheet over on page 7, I have presently 17 people stating that they will be attending the event. Hopefully we can get to at least 25 to 30 as time runs out. If we can get 30 people to kick in $5 each for the weekend, that would put a huge dent into the cost of the tent and would almost reimburse VANDAN on the money that he put up on securing the tent.

No matter even if your unable to support the cause financially or with some type of donation as ice or water, PLEASE support the tent program with your attendance or promoting the event. It is not necessary for everyone to be at the tent for each meet up, but hopefully this is something that can grow and you guys can be quite proud of in the years to come.

Again, thank you Bryan for stepping up and helping to promote the cause.

Thanks,
Richard

Was just over in FABO and they did nothing about a tent.
If someone could step up to coordinate it,next year combine ALL of Joeys sites for the free tent then everyone that wanted could pitch in for food & beverage. Wood be a HELLoVER PARTY!!!

That's very generous of you Bryan, but a grand is too much for one guy to pay:rofl:

We need a volunteer (kryslerkid) to be the official picture taker for the tent, So there is incentive for next year 2020.
