I hope so. That's the way it ought to work out.
That particular police department sure looks like they did some half-assed detective work for sure - but the owner
just freaking abandoning the thing like that doesn't come out looking so hot, either.
 
Seems to me that Hagerty had a lot to do with locating the involved parties...
 
Or do you guys think that the entire auction process was some sort of 'sting' operation to flush out the owner, and recover some sort of outstanding debts owed? :elmer:
 
yeah i agree kiwi,who the H leaves a gtx laying around and hopes his friend might look after it for however many years?
theres gotta be way more to this backstory.
