Other than my car, my other hobby is vintage radios. How many of you had one of these FM converters in your car back in the day? I picked this up at a rummage sale today for $1. I don't think it has ever been used. No marks or scratches, power line looks like it has never been uncoiled, protective film still on the chrome. They had fair reception. No pushbuttons was a drag considering they were usually mounted somewhat to the right of the driver in order to be plugged into the antenna lead in. Just about 2 years ago I put one in the glove box of a 69 Coronet down in KY.

Had this one in my Road Runner. Picked it up on ebay, worked great with the original radio!

Wow ! haven't seen one in a long time. Nice score.

LOL , Been awhile since I seen those. Didn't we have to run the AM dial to 1400 then turn on the convertor ?

You remember correctly.

Owned more than 1 back in the day.

I have about a half dozen in my hoard right now. I have two that tune in the CB channels instead of FM. One has Art Linkletter's name on it. It uses the tuner of the AM radio to select the CB channel.
