I'll be there selling stuff in the swap. NOTHING Charger related...I need all the stuff I have!
I have some early A body parts, some fan shrouds, hubcaps, grilles, 72 Dart fenders and hood, other misc bits and pieces....
Come say hello. I'll be driving THIS:

I went to one of their shows once. I found them to be a bunch of arrogant, condescending A-holes. I never went back!

It’s a good Show. Lots of variety. The parking lot now has those Solar panels that give some shade, but don’t play well with photographs. Lots of modern Mopar.

Improper display of front plate. I’m on the phone with CHP.

The plate is in plain view if you are laying on the ground in front of the truck.
I hit a road cone a few years ago and said...**** it...

I am loaded down! Truck and trailer with fenders for Darts and Valiants, a hood for a '68 Sport Satellite, a few bumpers, lenses, seat belts, Polara brakes, grille and gauge cluster... Early A body V8 center links, fan shrouds...adjustable rocker arms from a 273 V8, window cranks, door handles, 1965 Plymouth gauge parts, switches and interior parts, 1970 Dart window and vinyl top trim, 1965 Barracuda grille, several stock AM radios and all sorts of other stuff...

Well, I did okay. I did not drive away with an empty truck and a full wallet but I did sell stuff I'd never use. I got to chat with some of the guys I only get to see a few times a year, I met a few new friends too. Todays sales will help fund the newest project car I am buying....

That looks kinda rough KD. Details please.

1970 Charger, XH model. That is a low line model, bench seat, column shift. 383 2 barrel auto, 8 1/4" axle. 4 wheel drum brakes. The car has been sitting since 2006 at the spot in the picture, who knows how long before. Prior owner was in a low speed collision that bent the RH frame rail and fender apron. The sale comes with a grille and bumper, replacement hood, fenders and valance. Needs a trunk floor and some slight work around the rear window corners. 383 & 727 come with it. $5000.
I have to put the front back together to get it to a body shop so they can tug it on a frame rack. Once it is reasonably straight, I'll asses what to do further. I have a front stub from a '70 Belvedere and a set of frame rails and core support from a '68 Satellite if I need to replace anything. I have a 440, an 8 3/4" axle, seats, door panels, gauges...odds and ends. I'll still spend money to bring this back but $5000 for a relatively solid 68-70 Charger is a good deal!

Sounds like a good score.

I was all set to go. On Saturday I had new sod laid on my front yard. I was out in the driveway doing some work on another vehicle with the garage door open. At the end of the day....a rather breezy day it was...the gardening crew "cleaned up" by BLOWING all the dirt around with a leaf blower!!!!! Needless to say. my garage and everything in it became coated with a rather heavy layer of DIRT DUST!!! The dust brush wouldn't even pick it up off the GTX!! Thank GOD I didn't have the windows down! Needless to say, I spent Sunday washing the GTX instead of driving it..AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!! It was almost worse than picking dead bugs out of the grille with tweezers in the lot behind AirTel!

I was landlocked at my swap spot, I did not venture out at all.

It looks like a project....which is more than some people here have.
Your comment is uncalled for Roger, but yet you think it's funny. I don't! Nice example of a Moderator you display!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Did you ever stop to think Kiwi was maybe referring to the fact MOST of us are DRIVING the projects we USED to have???

Well...thank you for singling me out for special attention here Jon. I feel privileged somehow to even rate a mention in your rant. I would offer to get deeply involved in a battle of wits with you, however I feel that I might have an unfair advantage. :)

Perhaps if you feel so bitter towards FBBO, you should take a break away from us. It might change your perspective somewhat.

And as for expecting trophies to be awarded at shows...really....do people actually go to shows expecting to win a prize? I thought it was all about the participation and meeting friends and making new ones.

As usual, your missing the point Roger because you don't seem to know how shows work in the US. When your the only 2 cars in a certain category, as well as a body style and they don't recognize either? Oh, I see. It's the topical Mopar crowd I see everywhere, rave all about how great the A,B,E bodies are, but let's all **** on the 300 and C body crowd, rape them of their motors and derby the hell outta the rest of them. That's a really great way to run a Mopar club. You need to take the blinders off too as well!
