I have a hood that I may never need. I parted out a 1968 Plymouth Satellite Sport wagon in 2014 and this hood remains from the pile of parts. I have toted it to a few swap meets and it gets as much attention as the ugly girl at the school dance. It is in decent shape but since it is not an Air Grabber or Road Runner hood, it gets ignored.
I am willing to give it away. I don't want to throw it away because to me, that is a waste. I save stupid and silly things that often find a home with car guys lately. Stuff we used to throw away is now becoming difficult to find.
If you can use this hood and have no spare cash, feel free to come and get it. If you are feeling grateful, stop along the way and pick up some tacos. I like tacos.

man that is the way it goes i just eaten all my tacos and i'm in fl . i wish some one around hear would offer that .

If the ugly girl at the dance isnt getting any attention by nights end, then it must be a gay pride dance because enough booze and somebody will **** that girl on a dare.

Just goes to show how ridiculous prices are getting for parts these days. Last year I picked one of these up for a cheap hotdog! Now it’s 3 tacos?? What’s next a whole rotisserie chicken for a deck lid??
Sorry, rant over.

did bentwrenches just put up a 4 sale for a 68 hood? just joking

You are a heck of a guy, no joke. But your doing it wrong, just throw callouts for a 440 in the hood ornament and then ask $300.00

Congratulations to BENTWRENCHES ! He is the winner of the hood.
There is a local guy that runs a carburetor rebuild shop, he is in Citrus Heights CA on Antelope road. He embarked on a 1970 Dart build some time back and ended up needing the most obscure and odd little parts for the car, stuff that most people never save. Little specialty bolts, brackets and assorted trinkets. He'd call sometimes to ask if I had this or if I had that. Usually I did because I have stowed away things for years. Lucky for him he is building a Dart instead of a Challenger or Imperial. I have nothing for those cars!
If you ever need to have your carburetor rebuilt, look up Bob at The Carburetor Factory in Citrus Heights. Good guy, skilled man too.

I too have a 1968 Sport Satty hood in excellent condition. Very few Mopar guys around here and swap meets are over 100 miles away. Why put a big *** ugly hood scoop on a Roadrunner or GTX when you could put it on one o these cheap hoods? ...save yours... I'm going to hold out for at least a steak dinner..........MO
