I just received my Carlisle vendor spot sticker in the mail (E48). I purchased this literally a few days ago. However, I didn't get my showfield sticker that I bought in January!?! :poke:

I have talked to Ed, the guy who runs the show, and he says they don't assign parking until the last few weeks before due to people still registering. I think this is the hold up for the stickers going out later for the showfield vs vendor spots and car corral. They like to have an idea of car count before assigning platforms to specific areas.

After hearing the Downside reports about Days Inn, on the Pike, now Quality Inn, I called to check my reservation. Happy to hear they had it, and actually sent an email confirmation ! If you are still looking for a room, check them out, they may have openings after the change over. I like staying there, as their location, trailer parking, and the Middlesex Diner next door, make it a Nice place to stay. Great beer drinking locale & company after the Show too.

The Middlesex Diner is probably one of the best spots in Carlisle. Love that place. Check it out if you have not been. Great service, food and atmosphere. We go there every morning for breakfast. :thumbsup:
 
Going to the diner last year was so convenient for my family and I. It literally was right across the street from our flee-bag hotel. (the Super 8).
 
Just got my paperwork and stickers for the show today. The Middlesex Dinner has always been a favorite for many years. It is nice to be able to get a good meal at 11:00 PM after getting everything loaded up after the weekend.
 
It took me a few years to catch on, but you can BYOB to enjoy with your meal. I was glad to find that out, as I don't drink soda, and you can only drink so much water after the long days at the Show !
