Take it outside the bar boys.....and the comment about murderaters letting crap slide.....well, if I see crap, I delete it but first I have to be 'in' the thread and other than that, if I'm not 'in' the thread viewing it and no one reports it then I may never see it.

Well, I did okay. I did not drive away with an empty truck and a full wallet but I did sell stuff I'd never use. I got to chat with some of the guys I only get to see a few times a year, I met a few new friends too. Todays sales will help fund the newest project car I am buying....

I've had to drive home many times with a half full truck and them put it all away again but usually made new friends and touched base with old one too which makes things better!

I was all set to go. On Saturday I had new sod laid on my front yard. I was out in the driveway doing some work on another vehicle with the garage door open. At the end of the day....a rather breezy day it was...the gardening crew "cleaned up" by BLOWING all the dirt around with a leaf blower!!!!! Needless to say. my garage and everything in it became coated with a rather heavy layer of DIRT DUST!!! The dust brush wouldn't even pick it up off the GTX!! Thank GOD I didn't have the windows down! Needless to say, I spent Sunday washing the GTX instead of driving it..AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!! It was almost worse than picking dead bugs out of the grille with tweezers in the lot behind AirTel!
Right now I'm dealing with a new construction site to the south of me (spring/summer time prevailing winds are out of the south and blow in 10-15mph and more). I forget how many acres it is but it a bunch. Last summer they clear cut nearly everything and so far this summer it's been a lot of dirt work so I feel your pain....but, I known it's nothing like I'm dealing with!! Thing is, I feel blessed that my 'nice' cars are no longer here and was able to live here for 34 years before this crap happened. I knew some day it would but figured it would happen a LOT sooner than it did so I'm not really complaining. It does suck when you have nice clean cars and then within minutes, they are full of dirt dust.

I was landlocked at my swap spot, I did not venture out at all.
Been there done that many times but was usually able to at least venture out for 15 minutes at a time and my now X would call me if someone walked up and was interested in something and within a few minutes, I was back. She did actually sell a couple of items though when she put them on the phone with me....

Isn't that the entire state of Commiefornia?

Ahh. I guess you're auditioning for 69a100's job of bashing all the good people of the Golden State for no good reason and thinking you're being a funny guy. Time to grow up, Pal, and become a full fledged adult. Real adults have better things to do than spend their time being exactly what they are calling other people...

As usual, your missing the point Roger because you don't seem to know how shows work in the US. When your the only 2 cars in a certain category, as well as a body style and they don't recognize either? Oh, I see. It's the topical Mopar crowd I see everywhere, rave all about how great the A,B,E bodies are, but let's all **** on the 300 and C body crowd, rape them of their motors and derby the hell outta the rest of them. That's a really great way to run a Mopar club. You need to take the blinders off too as well!

Who here in this thread ever talked smack about C bodies? Who even mentioned them? Regardless....
This is the For B Bodies only site.
Not Imperials, Not Darts, Not B series vans, etc.

If you are looking for love and admiration for the Polaras, the Fury II and III, the Imperials, the LeBarons, peck your computer keyboard to FCBO. Lots of good people there.
I like almost all Mopars built from the early 60s to the late 70s. I'd love to find a clean, original late 60s Polara or Fury III 4 door. Those cars rode nice and had tons of room.
I parted out a '70 Polara because it was too rough to restore and because nobody wanted to buy it. It is just how the hobby is, few people want a 4400 lb 4 door classic. In 2014 I parted out a '68 Satellite station wagon for the same reason. I love wagons but I'm in the minority on that.
I even LOVE the A-100 and A-108 vans! I like the Corvair and Econoline vans of that era as well.
When I go to a car show to spectate, I don't linger around the Challengers or Barracudas very long but I DO like to admire Imperials, Vans, trucks and of course....Chargers, Darts and Dusters.
The Mopar Alley show is more likely to have the muscle cars instead of the Imperials and C bodies. Maybe you rubbed against some people that did not appreciate a car you brought? Maybe you don't know it but MOST of the cars in any given show are NOT members of the club that put on the show. Our show in Sacramento often has a nice turnout of the big cruiser cars and not as many wild customs, $ 150,000 restorations, etc. Sometimes We have a separate section for club member cars away from the others.
