Who do you guys recommend I buy a TTI exhaust system from? Mancini charges $200 to ship them. At that price, I would be willing to drive a state over to pick up the system. That's insane. Summit racing ships freight for free. I'm in central KY.
Thanks,
Andrew

Hughes engines ships free also Chicago connection. Both TTI dealers. Bill or Tim at Chicago connection may even have what you need in stock.

Bill or Tom at Chicago Connection like stated above. They have all the bigger stuff dropped shipped right from TTI for no charge.

I bought mine right from TTI, most inexpensive overall at the time.
IIRC vendors were cheaper for the parts, but made up for it on the shipping, or vise-versa.
Also, I had an issue later and TTI has outstanding customer service, best I've ever seen.

Just ordered a TTi exhaust from Hughes and got charged shipping?? WTF

Chicago Connection is the only place that has offered free shipping whenever I bought TTI. Did you ask Hughes about it before placing the order?

That’s odd, I believe mine drop shipped from TTI, maybe they had yours in stock and charge shipping for that? Not only did I not pay shipping I got a free t shirt shipped out as well.

I ended up getting my TTI from Chicago Connection. First time i have dealt with them.

Spoke to the owner a week after I placed the ordered online and he tried to cancel my order. He was not happy about free shipping. It was a bit of a shouting match but he kept the order active.

I also learned that TTi does not make the starting flange for the headers i bought. I ended up insisting he honor my order and he eventually did. I also spoke with TTI about there incomplete exhaust. Ended up buying a universal kit i now must cut and weld myself. When i spoke to CC about 3 weeks after the order was placed the owner was much friendlier an apologized.

I have bought 3 exhausts from TTI. In 2005 i received nice band clamps and there was the aluminized coating on the pipes, enough to rub off on your hands until the first fire up. In 2010 i bought another. Got standard clamps but had the same aluminized coating. This exhaust did not have the coating and had the standard clamps and they did not have the correct flange for my headers.

Might be my last TTI exhaust.

Don’t buy direct. They seemed annoyed. $1000 to the door. Polished ceramic. Just the headers. 10 years ago. Next time, advice or a vendor here.

No TTi was going to charge shipping. 10% was about $75, Shipping i think was $150-$200

Chicago Connection honored the no shipping in the end. Next time i think i will look at Pypes or Borla.

Thanks for that bit of information regarding Chicago Connection. I called them today and was told that they essentially cut the shipping in half and eat their part of it giving the customer "free shipping". They also do not charge sales tax on out-of-state online sales. Which is usually the case but more online retailers are charging tax on out-of-state sales. I'm in California and have bought from TTI direct, California sales tax and a flat rate of $75 really adds up. So looks like I'll be ordering from Chicago as I'm ready to pull the trigger on a new set of TTI headers soon.
