I have a 1974 road runner and there is a spot of rust on the driver side door in the bottom corner. I was wondering what the best way to take care of it is. There are also two tiny holes where the spot is.

Cut the rusty area out and weld in a fabricated patch and metal finish the weld. Then proceed with conventional body work and paint.

you can glue a patch in it with panel bond if you want to avoid welding

Scrap the car.
That is funny. I am a smart *** too and often respond in a similar manner.
The OP has ONE post here and possibly has little experience with cars. While being obnoxious is entertaining, 493 Mike has a helpful suggestion the OP might like.
I liked YOUR response though. I saw the humor in it.

a product called rust Mort- will stop further rust , there are two versions of rust mort- the one for the inside/unseen leaves a black paintable coating, then -proceed as you see fit depending on size of damage. rust issues are the most miserable things to find on a car. well, that and 6 more payments you hadn't figured on.
