Have a Racpak logger dash. O/2, D/S, O/P/ ,F/P,Boost and temp sensor in the intake.
13.0 at WOT.MSD 6AL-2 programmable box with MAP for boost retard.
Car was hooking on 10.5W MT E/T drag tires,,,,60's are till sluggish in the low 1.4s,,,tight converter.
6500 over the stripe,best pass is still 147 mph. Went to Atco for the weekend.Still had some pump gas in the cell so 1st pass with my street tune was 10.16, UNcapped it went 10.05ish.Poured 5 gal of C12 and changed pulley for 6 lbs and netted 9.9 and that was the end of Saturday.
Changed timing and upped 2 jets Sunday am and 9.82 @139 with 6 lbs.Up to 8 lbs 9.73 @ 140,,upped to 10 lbs went 9.67 @140 :wtf:!!! I knew sum-ting-wong:(

(was that 146.8 mph ? -14..68-)

how far down the threads (on the plug) does the discoloration go ?
can't tell really well, looks a tad bit rich, I can't see down inside
but IMO that's not abnormal for blown gas (gas in general)
especially if you idle around a bit
especially if you didn't click it off clean, right after the speed traps,
for an accurate plug reading
I assume you drove it back, then checked

what did it tell you ?
did you do anything with the timing ?
where you at now ?
can you change when it comes in ?
or take timing out down track, run more initial ?

kept getting faster as boost was added :thumbsup:

140mph....did you forget to take that 40 pound bag of skirt steaks out of the trunk before you made those passes? :D

HEMI-ITIS, It's really nice to see your having fun with your beautiful car. Just think how much more fun it would be with a slant 6 and 3 on the tree! Brian.
Hey, I ran my 66 Belvedere with the /6 auto (manually shifted it) and actually won a bracket race with it on the 5 time out after making a bunch of adjustments to it after each time out! The car went from high 22's (LOL) to mid 19's and my dial in for the race was....19.66! Crazy! Next time out, it had 4.10 gears instead of the anemic 2.94's and ran an 18.10. It was fun beating much faster cars and actually winning a race but wouldn't want to run the stock /6 for a full season especially after having a car that ran much faster.
 
So....... what are we looking at with those screen shots?(no real data logger experience)
3 different passes with 3 different boost levels?

Are those displayed numbers the peak values for each channel?

I see on one of those screen shots that the RPM is almost 8K.

Do you have a cam profile/valvetrain that’s stable to 8K in a hemi?
The motors don’t nose over quite the same way when the valves are floating when there’s boost, as they do when it’s N/A.

I’d suggest a few pulls on the chassis dyno in the high boost configuration to see what the top end of the powerband looks like.

Dwayne,the order the pics is a screen shot of the upper left corner of the screen with readout for that exact point in the recording,the following pic is the entire graph.When looking at the graph you van see the white arrow with the vertical line and I chose the shift points for the photos.

I can't tell you if it's stable to 8K,,,,but it still fells like it's pulling. How would float show itself in AF or RPM?
It lean spikes as the hit and gear changes and the boost drops a tad at the lean spike.
The engine is coming out as the compression and leak downs were a little silly even though it was cold
and I need to play it safe as it was lean under load at times.Rather be safe than sorry!
I would like to go over what I have,what you think,and what you would recommend :lowdown::lowdown::lowdown:
 
Also the screenshots were the 6 lbs,,8lbs,,and 10 lbs between 139.00 and 14.68 MPH. It should have been close to 150 MPH!!
 
Just curious what CR you have. I've known several that had them lower than I expected when useing a blower. Different animal.
 
Removed the engine yesterday,it's on the stand with the heads off and the piston that showed much leakage. DO NOT see anything bad,,,,,,,yet.That was as far as got as I still had to bring the car back to my garage and put it to sleep for a week or so.
