in the classic industry book it also says bow style or conversion whats up with this.

The conversion is what I did to the duster in 1972 they started to go to cardboard headliners but all the body features were still there to use the bow type headliner so you can buy a conversion that will give you the metal rods which are usually not bent you have to figure that out yourself which is a real pain to put a bow type headliner in the car that used to have a cardboard headliner

sorry about that 1964 440 hard top.

To my knowledge, no headliner bows are reproduced for the earlier B-Bodies. So you have to source these as a used part. Should be five bows.

Headliners are readily available for a variety of vendors. Most come from REM, Legendary makes some as well as buying from ACME. Just depends on who you prefer to purchase from and pricing can vary greatly. One suggestion would be not to purchase the headliner until approximately two weeks prior to installation. Once you get it, remove from the packaging to help in removing the wrinkles. If left in the packaging for an extended period, more frustration in trying to get all of the wrinkles out which will affect the overall fit and appearance of the finished product.
