Pretty sure I went about this the wrong way for the drivers side...
I'm now at the point where I need to remove the river and bumper piece that go through the window.

How do I remove the window regulator plastic rivet and the roller bumper? Think this will allow me to pull the window straight up and out. Everything else is disconnected already.

Put a punch on that center pin of the rivet and it will knock out, then the teeth will come in and allow you to remove the now hollow rivet. Similar deal on the other one, take the screw out and the plastic part will come out of the glass.

You need to punch out the middle part of the plastic rivet. This will allow you to remove the rest of the plastic. The middle piece, when in place, acts as a lock.

I see dadsbee beat me with the answer.

Also before you get punch happy....brace the glass with blocks inside the door to cushion the blow and to make it ridged so you don’t wack the glass with the punch.....

Ok that is about what I thought. Actually thought it pulled out like a pin.
I'll give it some more time and energy a bit later.
Thanks for the tips
