Looks to healthy for me. I'd eat it, save me a bite!

too much vegetation

I'm about to go get a pound of pulled pork

that's it

nothing else

Noup too much vegetables for me that's looks like one of my wife's dishes , a single man eat MEAT, pasta, fried chicken, quesadillas, tacos al pastor, just kidding man, that looks delicious, you and I have the same problem with our wife's, you can perfectly cook without making a mess in the kitchen, is it so hard to put the salt n pepper back to its place. :D

I'm the cook at my house

I enjoy cooking if I have the stuff, 'I hate shopping'

Almost all mine is home made, not much store bought or precooked
other than pizza crusts, mine suck

I love pastas of all types, some with clam sauce, some with meat gravy
or primavera with veggies

I love veggies too, of all kinds
(my dad is really picky he like corn on the cobb, peas & green beans)
a lot of meals I cook more than one veggie,
just because I can't eat the same stuff all the damn time
he is what he is, I am what I am too

I love fish of all kinds & shellfish too
my dad really doesn't he's a fisherman too :realcrazy: doesn't like fish
he only likes shrimp or lobster
we don't have lobster very often, $$$$

I'm big on split pea, veg. beef (or pork), oyster & potato soup (moms recipe)
& clam chowder soups NE & Manhattan style

I make a mean chicken & dumplings
I make a mean shepherds pie too
I'm also big on crockpot stuff, lentils, navy beans, chile con carne or chile & beans

I'm really a meat & potatoes guy 1st
:usflag:
especially at dinner time
Steaks, London broils, chuck roasts,
Spare ribs, thick Chops, boneless country style ribs,
chicken quarters or 1/2's or breasts, whole game hens,
various sausages, hamburger, ground pork etc. etc. etc.

or I will substitute the potato wedges, baked taters (or fries, tater tots)
with starches/carbs like rice or barley, some pastas etc.

I have a batch of coleslaw, 3 bean, pasta salad & potato salad in the fridge regularly
I really do try almost every meal to have a fruit or a vegetable
& some sort of meat/protein & some sort of carbo's or starches
to have a rounded healthy diet, carbs in moderation

I make a lot of sweet cornbread & drop biscuits or buttermilk biscuits

My lunches I do a lot of wraps, instead of breads or I do soups

I'm not a big breakfast guy at all, coffee always, sometime toast &/or a bagel

My dad is a big breakfast guy, he doesn't really do lunches,
just snacks (on junk food/crap) & he's still thin, go figure :poke:
he generally has 1st thing out of bed, every morning
he has the shakes really bad (I think from all his like 8-10 meds),
before he eats
I start him out with his favorites, 2-3 eggs, bacon, taters/dices up,
some trinity/diced up (keep a prep bag celery, onions, peppers in the freezer)
& scramble it up, with side of toast, juice & usually a fruit too
sometimes just oatmeal with a couple pieces of fruit & juice
sometimes pancakes or waffles, always fruit & juice,
he's a PITA :poke: old habits die hard, I can't eat like that myself

Funny! This was my B-fast this morning: left over rib eye and the usual stuff. Mike
