Rear Drum Brake questions

First of all a Happy Father's Day to all! My question deals with rear drum brakes. I'm planning on switching a '66-'70 B-Body 8 3/4 complete unit (housing, axles, everything) into our '64 Polara convertible. Seeing that I'll be starting fresh with all parts I may as well put on the largest factory drum brake setup that Ma MoPar offered. I'm thinking that there may be some C-Body brake assemblies out there, or even Pick-Up brakes, that may fit on to the factory B-Body rear end to gain some brake size. Any suggestions?
 
If you are running four wheel drums then 11 x 3 on the front and 11 x 2.5 on the rear would be the best. That is what hemi cars ran. They did make a 11 x 3 setup for the rear, but would probably be hard to find , and would be overkill.
 
They also made 11x2'' on some C bodies in the rear. Mid 70's. Had a 74 Monaco that had them.They can be used on the 8 3/4'' with the proper backing plates.If you are junk yard shopping.
 
You are not going to using the vehicle as a taxi cab in Manhattan....
The standard Big Block 11" x 3" Fronts. & 11" x 2 1/2"
Rears will be more than adequate...
As suggested above, if you want to get extra funky -- you can try and locate 11" x 3" Rear backing plates -- but they were only used on police cars, ambulances, heavy duty 300s and Imperials -- so they are not next to the string beans in the supermarket....

And, I have everything brand new for you ---
N.O.S. ++ Asbestos ++ brake shoes , wheel cylinders, brake hardware -- combo kits, adjuster kits, and the e-bar springs, and the brake drums N.O.S. U.S.A. made.
Basically, everything from the backing plates outward.

1967 GTX had 11"x3" rear shoes. Believe '68-9 also, but somebody else would have to verify that.
 
My 68 GTX, the fronts are 11 x 3, the rears are 11 x 2.5
 
You can never say never,or always, when it comes to muscle era mopars, but 67 GTXs with drum brakes as well as all other drum brake GTXs and R/Ts etc. Came with 11 x 2.5 rear brakes. If one of these cars left the assembly line with 11 x 3 rear brakes, it would be an unusual situation.

Bought a Dana 60 with 11x3's out of a 67 GTX a kid was parting out. He shouldn't done that, it was a solid car. It was a shell when I bought the rear.

Bought a '67 GTX in early '80's, original 440 auto, 8.75 car. 11" x 3" all the way around. Have all of that braking system on my '67 Belvedere currently (wrecked GTX). Thought it was common knowledge that all '67 GTX's came that way.
 
I have a pile of rear drum brake parts and am trying to fit it all together. Most of it is 10" stuff, just fine for front disc cars.
