It's a little orange peely but I let it dry in the sun and I coated it fast. I'm going to wet sand and clear coat it anyway. It's also over un-sanded fresh light gray primer.

Is there some pearl in that ? I always heavy clear my samples. Nice

I would have too, ,but i'm slap out of clear. no pearl but it looks it doesn't it? I put a little wet look hardener in it. Looks way different in the sun. The light picks up all the flake in it and darkens the color. In the shade it looked so even and light colored like a pearl.

It will be cool. I'm spraying a sample of a white tomorrow that has no flake , the pearl makes it look like there's flake in it. I cleaned it up by not putting the yellow and gray tint in it. hoping for not as milky looking cleaner white.

I have a quart of parchment white coming for the blocks across the hood and down the fenders. I'm contemplating a line down the backside of the blocks in either Malachite Green or Azurite Blue.

That's only grey primer but the parchment white, with no line in front and a 1/2 azurite blue line at the rear is going to be cool.

That looks cool. Got the car ready yet ??

Finally got around to hooking up the center pull e brake cables. I replaced the drivers side with a right side cable so they would both be the same length, cut a pass through the rear seat front footwell hump forward edge and bolted down the cable stop plate that I cut off of the frame when I relocated the springs. Easy. Works like it's supposed too. A little cosmetic clean up and some primer and it's all good. Since I had to take off the drum and shoes to put the new cable in I went ahead and took off both sides and put on new brake wheel cylinders as well. The floor is getting bed liner and FatMat so all of this will never be seen again.

Installed the steel barrier between me and the fuel cell. Cut and bent the two fuel tank hold down straps.

Got the quart of "Linen White" AU single stage today for the blocks flowing across the hood and down each front fender.

That is an awesome color and looks great with the white vinyl. Very exciting, can't wait to see it on the car and in the sunlight!

Wow that paint has lots of poly/metallic...

should be nice in the sun, BLING

for some reason I thought it was going to be Purple-ish color
maybe it's just the photos wash out the colors
I'm seeing brown-ish or copper-ish, like a poly filled T7

maybe I missed something, along the way

No. Sadly. Soon though, still taking all the mock ups apart and then sanding begins.
prime, sand, block & prime, sand, block again, rinse & repeat :bananadance:

Yeah it's sand, then

sand some more, then

sand some more, it feels like
my arms are gonna' fall of :poke:

then paint & more sanding,
wet sand, repeat & rinse, repeat sand again
