Im looking to upgrade my steering box. What ratio should I get? 20 to 1 or 16 to 1. I would like to hear everyone ideas on this.
Thanks

I have one of their 16:1boxes in my GTS. No complaints.

What does "manual" steering box (from the thread title) mean?
I have MANUAL steering, no power, and I am wondering is this an actual MANUAL steering box?

Didn’t have a problem. The box was in my 71RR. I also added the close ratio pitman and idler arms

Yes that's what it means. My steering box is shot and looking to upgrade it to a faster ratio. The company I'm going with is Firm Feel.

I found it!
I am not having any problems with the factory manual steering box I installed (a rebuilt one) about 3 years ago.
I would only want the stock 24:1 ratio as parallel parking is enough cardio in the summer especially for me as is.
So what is the advantage of the firm feel 24:1 manual box over the factory manual steering box?

I went with 20 to 1 ratio over stock after talking to there rep. He said steering will be tighter and parking would'nt be a workout. You should call them, they will answer call all your questions. But there is a two month wait for the steering box.
