Okay. When I see someone post a question that I think I can help with I respond, usually someone else has already replied by the time I see it though. Most of the time I'm here looking for tech advice. I guess I'm not to be trusted because I don't post often enough for you guys. Good thing I'm not trying to sell anything here.
Your missing the point, no one is saying you’re a bad guy or not to be trusted. If me and you have the same item for sale for the Same price 99/100 they’re going to come to me first because of my feed back and history.

No, I didn't miss the point. Kern Dog was saying the member called out in this thread is untrustworthy because of his low post count over 3 years. He hasn't even replied here yet. My point was that having only 150 some posts over 3 years doesn't necessarily mean he was trying to rip the OP off. I'm not here to sell stuff. I'm here because I love B Body mopars.
Apparently you decided not to read or comment on my post just after Kerns. Yes - you are missing the point.....

A low post count does not automatically dismiss a member but it does compare to a situation similar to a company that has only been in business for a very short time. I tend to trust what seems to have a proven history.

No. I saw your post too. I kind of feel like you missed my point. I just decided that I don't want to be involved in the conversation anymore. One of the reasons my post count is so low. I don't like to argue.

Just saw this. Partsmonsta conveniently omits a few facts. Firstly there has never been any proof that the package was destroyed. It reached a certain point and disappeared.I worked in a warehouse and know how to package items. He demanded a refund within days of telling me of the missing item. FedEx hadn't told me of the items status so I can't give a refund. After a few days I agree the item is lost and tell him I will refund his money in a couple of days. He agrees and then files a claim with PayPal, and lies about it. Had he not pulled that stunt he would've had his refund 2 weeks ago So I've been waiting to see if PayPal issues him a refund. It appears they won't. I don't keep a lot of money in my PayPal so I will sell a few things and he will be refunded within a week.

With very limited information from the OP it is hard to understand how it got damaged....

Was it poor packaging? Was it the fault of the carrier?

Either way if insured for the correct amount has that been explored?

As a buyer and a seller myself when I deal with fragile items that carry a high cost. I recommend to the seller or if I am selling to the buyer to pay up and have the carrier pack them. It is an added cost but when the carrier packs them they cannot deny the claim due to poor packaging..

Also, once you accept the box and open it you claim it arrived well...most don’t know that trick some carriers play. Also, if you use a used box most carriers will deny the claim....

The other thing I do with these type of items is to direct it to the store, inspect the box and have the clerk open it....The carriers are very sneaky at deny deny deny always protect yourself...

Imho if this was a carrier situation insurance should be sought first. If damaged by poor packaging me as a seller would ask to return the item and once received I would issue a refund...but that doesn’t mean this guy has to it can still be claimed through insurance.....

I just think there is more to the story here than what we have presented....
Never received package.

Yea, there's more to it...it's a setup.
Need moolah to pay your mortgage?... screw going to the Bank and 15-18% interest rate. Just rip somebody off online selling parts.

Any BS excuse to not pay somebody. I waited long, contacted him many times. He had the opportunity to pay, but let's wait for him to do ANYTHING that we can use for an excuse not to pay. Holy ****, tuff life living paycheck to paycheck. Try to put some savings away, Man.

Ok, Guys. Seller has made another promise to pay in a week.
Let's do our best not to tick him off :wetting:
Today is: 6.18.19.

Sorry to double post here, but not only are you refusing to answer basic questions about the situation after putting this guy on blast with a false title to your post, but you are also claiming he "set you up"? Fedex took the package and has record of accepting it... You think he somehow worked with fedex to set you up and have them "lose a package"... You think you're buying parts from Newman?

OP sounds like a customer that many vendors wish to avoid...The guy that is hard to please and then plays victim when things don't go his way.
Nobody likes to be cheated. When stuff gets damaged or lost during shipping, why the heck is it up to the seller to refund the money??

With all of the POINTS being pointed out by many in this thread, it reminds of when Oblio and his dog Arrow were banned to the Pointless Forest by the King of the Land of Point. Throughout this whole adventure of Oblio and Arrow, Harry Neilsen sang many songs of Pointed lyrics until one day Oblio and his dog Arrow came back to the Kingdom of the Land of Point and told the Pointed King and all of his Pointed Subjects that he learned that the Pointless Forest actually had many Points to all living creatures and plants. Thus everyone in the Land of Point actually realized that there is no such thing as Pointless beliefs just Pointless talk.

Now you all can verbally slap the **** out of me for this Pointless comment.......:luvplace:
