Just had my car blasted and the trunk floor will need to be replaced. I looked in the Classic Industry catalog and found they sell "Mopar Authentic Restoration/Restorers Choice" trunk floors. I live near their store and it would be easy to pick up the floor at the store. The floor is about $100 less than AMD not including another $200 for AMD shipping.
Other than the savings is the "Restorers Choice" a good product or should I bite the bullet and pay more for AMD and risk damage in the shipping process?
How do the two trunk floors compare? Thanks for the imput.

Check with Stacey, he offers good discounts and shipping costs on AMD metal. No affiliation, just a happy customer. I bought the AMD trunk floor from him, fit great, and no shipping damage. I did have about a half truckload of parts in that order however. Also, since not an internet sale, no sales tax.

the trunk floor is one of the parts from AMD that actually fit
the other place I have no idea.
you usually get what you pay for

amd bought the molds/press from Dodge so I would go with them. A member on site said they didnt deliver his and sent another and 2 showed up. I think you cant lose with AMD.They told him to destroy it.Dont need to send back.

I had good experience/fit with Goodmark and saved a little over $200. Also will be covered with a trunk mat and spare tire.

In my experience everything from AMD fits like a glove these days. Worth the extra $$ IMHO.
Trunk pans, floor pans, you can fudge on if you need to save a few bucks. Exterior panels, AMD all the way.

I think I figured it out. The description of the trunk floor in the Classic Industries catalog says "Mopar Authentic Restoration/Restorers Choice" but when you type in the order number on the order page the description comes up as "AMD". Not sure why the description on the catalog page doesn't mention AMD, but I guess the panel is made by AMD. Thanks to all of you who responded to my post.

I have a pair of Challenger rear quarters on my wife's Challenger from Goodmark the are very thin guage compared to the AMD pieces. I pushed the quarter panel in with my hand to clamp it to the outer wheel house, and I dented the panels, that would not happen with an AMD panel. Goodmark was the first to offer full quarters for Challengers so I bought them as soon as they were released. Mark that owns AMD is the same Mark in the name Goodmark. The Goodmark stuff is like AMDs lower product line.

Purchased a number of AMD parts including their trunk floor pan. Fit like a glove. Shipping could be an issue - while I didn’t experience it on the trunk floor anyway - did on another part. I go where I know the quality is the best vs saving a few bucks. For some reason everyone checking out your resto always wants to see the trunk. My guy spent a lot of time on mine making sure it was perfect.

Went to Classic Industries yesterday and picked up the trunk floor, it turns out it was made by AMD. I'm not sure why they don't advertise that it's made by AMD, it would solve a few questions.

Nice. I've run into that with them before as well. A quick phone call typically clears it up.

The cheaper ones from AMD/Classic are the same thing but considered "seconds"....dented, scratched, stamped wrong, etc...Does anyone even watch those preschoolers stamping this stuff out over there? lol!
