Simple, but effective
These 1 1/2” gauges fit nicely in the center of the dash of the ‘68 Sport Satellite Ragtop. The Sun Super Tachometer had been sitting for a few decades because of a broken glass lens and I wasn’t sure if it needed a control box. Recently a glass company cut two 3” round lenses for $10 each.
I bought glass drills bits for the center hole (they wanted $25 each drilled). Super glad I got 2 because the center hole was off on the first try. Success on #2 AND figured out no control box was needed. The date on it is from 1966 and it work perfect. Sometimes it’s good to be a pack rat! And good to monitor the 440.
