It shouldn't matter - they will orient themselves in the "park" position. Do a bench test after assembly.

Thanks Stanton well I got the motor all back together and is working fine besides I have found out that I have a 2 speed wiper crank and bushing but a three speed motor and switch I was wondering if someone would have one on the forum part # I believe I need is 2822273 thanks let me know thanks

You can buy those new from a number of places.

When you put the motor back on the car, test it through the dash switch before putting on the arms. Sometimes when bench testing you disconnect the power before the motor has cycled through its stages. If the motor wasn’t cycled back to park, and you put the arms on, it will pull the arms down and scratch into your paint job as soon as you send power to it. Not a nice result
