Hi all in Mopar land, I’m looking for suggestions on an issue I’m having. Turn signals work fine but no hazards. After pulling out the column switch nothing! Not even the indicators lighting up on dash, I thought it was the column switch. I purchased a new replacement switch from Classic Industry’s. To test the new one, I simply unplugged the old under the dash. Still same issue, signals work fine, no hazards. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Shark

Isn't there a separate flasher for the hazards on those? I believe they are separate from the turn signal flasher. I'd try that before anything. Cheap and easy to switch.

I had this same issue on my '71 Satellite a long time ago, but never found the cause. HOWEVER, the flashers WOULD work if I used the left or right turn signal in combination with turning on the flasher. Order was not important. The flashers would work as long as it was on and the right or left signal was on.

Thanks for starting this thread. Just noticed last night my hazards flash normally-bright and at a good pace ('72 Satellite). The turn signals on the other hand, blink weakly. I wish it were the other way around. I replaced my turn signal switch already and no improvement/no change.

Will be looking to see if I can find two separate flashers under the dash (already added extra ground wires to both front turn signal bulb sockets to brighten up the intensity when they are on-a big improvement).

welcome to FBBO

may also want to post that question in the
Electrical & Ignition forum section too

this is the welcome wagon, not really a Q&A forum section
it's really for getting to know each other, sharing a few photos
&/or story about the cars/you etc.

good luck

Usually the 2 flashers are a little bit apart from each other,8-12” apart(?) real close to bottom edge of dash.

Welcome from the show me state!!

Thanks for the responses. I will have to crawl under the dash and look for two flashers. Possibly the hazard flasher is missing.

There are definitely two separate flashers. One is usually clipped to or around the steering column. The other is usually on or near the ash tray. Also look along the bottom, inside edge of the dash frame.

One of mine was hidden under glove box and the other near ash tray
