well more than I was thinking but wow

Obviously if your looking at something of this nature your not worried about being politically correct, just want to go faster.
Sweet piece and the price isn't out of line, I guess, but with a complete 6.4 long block available running around 9 grand this would make it a tough decision which direction to go unless you have all the guts for that RB block... just sayin

Wow my kids had an EZ Bake oven when they were little, i thought it was for making little cakes not big blocks

Why do you have to post this stuff? Luv it!

looks to be several pieces
not just one piece of billet
look at all the welds in the top & valley of the block

$16k wow

speed is expensive,
especially if you want to go really fast
750+hp & go sub 9 seconds in the 1/4 mile
in a MoPar & have it last any period of time at that level

how fast do you want to go ?

--------------------------------------------------------

you can get a 500+ cid, proven tried & true, complete race prep 800-900hp BBC
single 4bbl, aftermarket block & great flowing heads for $16k,
632cid 1500hp N/A dyno'd billet with 450cfm heads, complete for about $30k

I wonder what the weight savings would be?
40% (maybe 45%) at best for just the block
alum. weight vs cast iron weight
IF all things were equal

maybe more compared to w World Block,
they are about 100#'s heavier, than many aftermarket Iron block

I'm guessing the several pieces welded together make up the water jacket.
But well out of my price range of $2,500.

Geesh! I was thinking that the Indy Maxx Aluminum blocks were pricey, but still in my realm of possibility...
I admire the apparent strength and engineering of this block, but it's obviously for the hard core Mopar racers...
