The car was a roller when purchased. The previous owner rebuilt the front end and installed
used spinals, I think off a Cordoba and not sure. Anyways I install the rotors (single piston) that came with the car and they fit nice with 14" steel wheels. I have around 1/4" clearance from the out side of the rotor to the inside of the wheel. No rubbing.

The pads I think are the wrong ones as I cant figure it out...no way to work.

Can some one identify from the picture what these rotors are off...like to purchase the correct pads.

The pad with holes looks like its for pin type calipers.

Great....pads for 73-76 A body, What is a F body?
Just thumbing through Chrysler performance upgrade book and it states the same as your recommendation. thx

I believe your calipers are on the wrong side. The bleeder needs to be up top on the high side. Looks like your bleeders are low. Not gonna get the air out that way.....

Yeah that isn't going to work the way you have it bolted together. I'm not sure those calipers can be made to work on your car but at the minimum you have them on the wrong sides. Get them on the correct side of the car and then see if the brake hose will work. If the brake hose won't work then you'll either need custom hoses or different calipers.

I mocked them up with the brake line off the caliper to the frame mount/tap that connects to the additional line.
I will switch out and see how the brake line works. But that make total since about the bleeder.

I switched the calipers and works better. Don't know what I was thinking.
Now to rebuild the calipers, as they have been sitting for years if they are still rebuildable. Kit cost the same as the complete
re pop calipers for $35.00. Just do not have any luck with after market. Not sure if they with slide well as the casting
is probably going to be off some where. thx.

Removed the pistons/dust guard/seal from the calipers, extremely simple. Still had dirty fluid not much rust. Soaked them tomorrow and will see.
Any recommendation for caliper kit as I have found out what calipers I think I have know. Single piston slider-type caliper with 10 7/8" rotor off
1973-75 b body and others. Has the banjo mount hose.
thx for the help.

The one complaint I have about rockauto is that they sent me mixmatched calipers

I ordered the same MFG and the L/R part numbers

what arrived was functional but two totally different styles

BTW the other pad in that pic looks like a slider pad

If you're going to buy reman calipers don't buy the late model B body ones, get the late model FMJ slider calipers that are designed to be rear mounted and have the brake hose in the correct location. Then you can use an off the shelf hose and everything will work correctly. I covered this in the B body book that I wrote.

This is probably what you need.

Cleaned the calipers. look like a very small amount of pitting on the inside located where the hose line connects.
These have been sitting for years and just where the residual fluid/moister laid caused the very small amount.
Although the pitting is only about 1/8'' up the wall of the caliper cylinder. Not sure if its even going to affect the piston.
Probably purchase new ones.
Thanks for all the advice.

What book did you right. I like to check it out for sure.

The book is, Mopar B body performance upgrades 1962 - 1979, by Andy Finkbeiner.
I purchased your book. I do have a few other SA Design books 1968-72 that really help with my 1968 Barracuda Formula S drop top restoration.
Your book I think will help with upgrades for my 1966 Satellite.
thx chris
