I am down to installing the bucket seats in my Charger and this will complete the interior. I'm having trouble getting the cable wire/ mechanism adjusted properly for the seat forward and reverse slide. (too much wire and the single adjustment screw hook can't take up the slack)

On a '69 Charger, does anyone have a pic of the 6 way frame mounted to the seat?

As i recall its not supposed to be a cable, it should be two metal rods and a metal spring clip to adjust.

I believe 440+6 is correct. I have a 69 6-way seat frame (fyi-I'd swap it for a '70 if anyone has one) & there is a straight metal wire/spring as described. I think your cable idea would work, but I believe it goes "straight across" and not through the loop in the back of the frame....so it would need to be a little shorter. Don't quote me on the above, but that's how my '69 6-way seat frame is set up and it looks like it's original

Thanks guys. I believe someone mixed up some parts. The pics I've looked at have the metal rods.
