Just picked this roller up. Its going to be a street/strip cruiser. Doing the interior, roll bar, and a 9 inch with cal tracs right now. Eventually will be a mild pump gas big block and 727. Looking at doing a 505 or possibly bigger and looking into the holley sniper EFI. Thanks in advance for any help or pointers!!

Doing the same thing right now. Picked up a 64 Polara roller a couple months ago to build a street/ strip [ think pre pro street style ] Just got my strange dana 60 and RMS alterKation front end . Medford Speed here in Burlington county is building a 500 c.i. rb for it with trick flow 270"s. Going to also run a 727 full manual trans but not sure who"s yet. Been away from Mopars for awhile but it's sure fun getting back into. How is the overall body on yours?.

Sleeper that's going to be a great ride when you're done.

Sleeper, if you decide to sale off the glass hood let me know. I might be interested

Nice Dan!! I was looking into the trick flow 240s myself, what kind of compression are you running? the body is very solid and I got a lot of extra parts that are solid too. a set of fenders, a drivers door, and a fiberglass hood ill be selling. hows the interior on yours?

It should be close to 11:1 cr . Glad to hear the the body on yours is in good shape also it makes the project worlds easier. My interior is basically non existent . The car was a street/ strip car since probably the early 80's then sat since 98' [ belt date expired 98'] . Looks like it was never really fast or raced that much but they did put racing seats in front and remove the rear seat when they did the roll bar. I basically need to totally redo the interior. I got a little bit of bubbling around the rear wheel wells ,inners are good, an one small spot on lower front fender. Rest of the car is super solid which is why i bought it ,can't stand rust. Biggest problem i'm having right now is what color to paint this thing when it's done although i got a feeling i have some time to think about it ,lol.

Any of you guys know who makes the best repair panels for rear wheel fender lip?. Is Dodge different profile that Plymouth ?.

ok, great . I haven't had them off yet to really check them out but if they are more work than their worth i'll reach out to ya . Bearman what build style are you going for with your car?,

Yes, did car tool spring relocation with mini tubs and also used car tool frame connectors and torque boxes and front fender brace. All of it went pretty smooth , i was realy happy with their parts.

going with a pro street type look. 505 727 manual shift and looking for a dana for out back. sub frame connectors in roll bar on its way. 4 wheel disc brakes. just put new manual 16.1 box in got glass front end and both bumpers are glass. still lots of work to do and getting know where fast.

gotcha. think im keeping mine in the stock location, but im interested in how easy the spring relocation goes. putting doubles on mine too. most likely vikings

go to racers hang out those guys know what they're talking about and have some great ideas. even if yours is just a street machine the advantage is they have already been there and done that. so they can give you some great insight on how to or not.
