Modern Bullitt build

The grill repairs are done and it’s all sanded to 600 grit, time for paint!
Thanks
Pat

It looks straight with no warps.

Yes, this grill in great shape! My 1st 68 Charger (12+ years ago) was warped along the upper center grill. I made a form clamp it back in shape, It worked well.
Thanks
Pat

Did you heat it in the clamps to help it reset back in shape?

I finally received the backordered AAR radio so I could complete the dash. Radio is Bluetooth audio as well as hands-free phone, not sure how well it works but it looks and fits great!
Thanks
Pat

Half the radio's missing!

You'll have to give us a report on it once you get it running.

Where are you running the front end wiring through the firewall ? And into the engine compartment ?

Nice, love the bluetooth radio.

Hi Pat - I'd be grateful of a pic of the back of the dash if you have one to see how you routed wiring.

Thanks!

I’m installing the vinyl top over the 4th of July holiday. So I started by putting all of the vinyl top trim so I know where to locate the final cut. For the last 3 years this top has been laying over my Trans Am or viper. It’s nice to have it laying on the charger now ;-)
Thanks
Pat

Thanks for the update, can't wait to see it finally installed.

Great job

With the vinyl seams even and clamped at the front I glue the center 6” back to front. Then folding over the drivers side I glue over to the seam and then the same on the right side. After spraying the glue on both the roof and vinyl I put some plastic down to let me flip the vinyl over without sticking. Then holding and pulling the vinyl up I remove the plastic and stick the the vinyl down. Now with it glue seam to seam next will be down the pillars.
Thanks
Pat

I knew my nose was itchy for something. A Keepat it update on a Tuesday morning. Hooray.
Love the technical details. Thanks.

Looking good but I'm Chomping at the bone to see this thing sitting at ride height and wheels installed.
