Been thinking a lot about making a registry for u code Chargers. They are one of the never talked about Chargers . And I believe they are even more rare than the 71 super bee with 383 . Not the 440 bee but can't have it all . Production numbers on 73 74 dodge charger 440 are as follows
PRODUCTION NUMBERS.
WL21U3 1973 CHARGER CPE 26
WH23U3 1973 CHARGER HDTP 713
ALL AUTO AS 4 SPEED WASN'T AVAILABLE
WL21U4 1974 CHARGER CPE 14
WH23U4 1974 CHARGER HDTP 208
ALL AUTO AS 4 SPEED WASN'T AVAILABLE.
Would really like to see how many are out there. And see how many are rallye as they may be even more rare than some thank .

I will get it started. Here for now as I don't have the resources or no how to start my own website.

My 1973 charger WH23U3G

T2R9 Do you have a picture of fender tag with sequence number redacted? Would like to see options. Thanks for sharing. That's one nice looking car . And maybe a engine bay picture also .

Lynch Road car so not all options are on the tag. Missing sheet. Engine compartment was a mess.

That's awesome. Thanks. Now hope we can get more on board with this idea. Stripe ac/heater .28 inch radiator nice did you look on back of glove box. Rear seat back under front seat in back of front seat and even under carpet for broadcast sheet.

A guy I knew way back in the 70s had a charger with the louvers on the rear side windows. A SE I think. 400 magnum 4bbl 4 speed. It has been rotting in a field since the 90s. It was pretty sad shape then. Kim

I'm trying to find out how many 440 magnum 73 74 chargers are left .there was a ton of 400 cars . Wondering how many of the 700 cars are rallye. Joe

This hit dead end quickly . only three u code chargers left . Wow these cars are rare .

keep the Faith, they are out there.
i personally saw 2 here in western ny for sale awhile back.
both were red 440 cars from the factory, one was in fair condition the other was fair-to-rough.
both have been sold and vanished since then.
prices were about a grand more than i wanted to pay.
3500 for the fair one and 3000 for the rough.
both owners knew their cars were rare.

did you get ahold of Thomas at the link i gave you?

no I didn't try I did watch the show. But don't think they went back.

well, the only way to find out is for you to Ask him.
even then,if he didnt buy it,you might could get him to get you a pic of the data tag??
just put a little effort into it.

Thanks! 11,500 original miles. I changed a couple things over the years but is probably still 98% original. I purchased in 2,000 when I was 22 . The Rallye wheels and tires in the garage pic I put on for cruising. Still have the original wheels/ tires/ hubcaps.

Hey there guys, years ago probably 15-20 there was a 1974 U code charger for sale in Arnprior Ontario that my father and I considered buying. I was young at the time but loved "decoding" the vins and determining if everything matched up. I remember the car like it was yesterday I'll hit our old logs and see if I can find a picture and the VIN off it. Who knows where it is now, but I thought it would be an interesting story to share.
