Going a little nuts here....killing some time thinking about how I want to add some character to the car when I get to that point. Here are some ideas I was playing with. I don't have any fancy SW so I did this in MS paint lol.

Keep in mind that my car is a 1970 Sort Satellite and I am not going to re badge it as a RR but proudly maintain all Sport Satellite emblems etc. It has a 340 in it.

Pic is not my car (see note below). My car will be same color however a white and black interior with a back vinyl roof....have to imagine that a little which making your choice......

Interested in what you guys think!
Vote>>>>>>>> based on these choices!
1. Base
2. Black Rockers
3. Duel Strips
4. Funk
5. Plymouth Graphics and Duel Strips

Notice: This is not my car, I lifted this pic from somewhere on the intergalactic web and now cant find out where to provide credit sorry..

Agreed ! When I was 14 years old the local BP station owner, that also "cleaned up" cars for resale would give us $10 and tell us to bike down to Canadian Tire and buy him the widest "pin stripe" we could in either Black or White. We're talking 10 to 12" wide and he'd cover that old Maverick or Stangs lowers with it to look sharp.. for a week!

Actually I was not aware the 68 or 69 GTX used these. I came up with it on the computer. I think it looks good. I want to make it my own since this car is unlike most. Not many Sport Satellite’s left and I was thinking of a custom paint trim to add more sport to it than just a sedan based 318 it was originally.

I am open to ideas guys. I know at the end its what I will like but your ideas are valuable inputs.

is/ was your car originally green?
No it is cream ( I believe Alpine White I’ll have to verify the code but thats the only color it looks like to me) with a green interior.

Well, as you've said, its your car and your decision. If it were me, I'd "tribute" the hell out of it and basically make a it RR because you know thats what you really want. Same car, parts all fit. The purists will be able to tell from the VIN that it isn't a true RR but you will be smiling every time you drive it. As far as the graphics, do it in wrap material, that way you can remove it if you don't like it later.

the reason I asked is because I feel that sublime is SO overdone. IMO, it just doesn't appeal like other colors do. that pic up above looks so much better to me. if it were mine ld keep it the original color and build a GTX or RR copy out of it.

We have a Sublime Challenger. I think a lot of the High Impact colors don't look good on larger cars. It's just too much. Go white or silver with a black hood stripe and a black top. The very best paint color is the gray used on "The Hammer" Road Runner.
