New 4 link rods for my street lynx. Will collect from Malex tomorrow at the track and put in the car after racing Saturday. See if there is a difference from the old bushing Rods.

Also have my other Dominator on. Will see if it is better or worse?

Wooks, make sure to bring your mud bogging outfit. You might need it!

I believe you are correct? Why Bill decided to call his suspension setup Lynx I do not know.

Will see where the car runs with the AED Dominator today.

Off the trailer with the AED Dominator. Think we’re good.

Will be interesting to see, I got these for my street lynx also.
Hey guys,
If I go RMS instead of Gerst, should I start out with these? Use with Gerst too? Or?
You are 2 of the people who encouraged me to do the triangulated rear suspension...

Wookie,
I somehow started viewing this thread at pg 1, and noticed the dyno sheet started at 5k RPM...LOL. :lowdown:A big block that STARTS at 5k RPM...

Wooks got that purple beast working as well as himself. He went lots of rounds. He even got even with me and put me out first round, although as usual, I lit the bottom bulb again and gave it away.

Yeah. Went 3 rounds both races yesterday. Have to quit turning the red light on.

Wookie, do you think I should go with the type of control arms you just upgraded to from the get go when I install the triangulated rear suspension?
I used these for the UCAs on the Quick Performance Ford based 9" rear axle assembly in our 65 GTO. Top of the line UMI w/Roto joints:

We used lift bars to replace the lower control arms, and Quick Performance is welding in the adjustable lower brackets that go along with them. At a glance, the brackets look similar to the lower brackets you have. Different bolt hole mounting points to adjust instant center.

So melted the tires off in second round today. The track went away. Many were complaining. That said, I did notice the initial strike after letting the button go with new 4 link rods more solid. No more spongy feeling. So I probably need to tweak the shock settings a bit. I wish I had video to show but I don’t.
Maybe a couple of clicks less compression in the rear? Not sure.
That said. The last pass Saturday night the car melted the tires off with the old 4 link bars. So thinking mostly a track issue not a rod issue.
Can sure notice the rear is much more solid when turning.
The first pass this morning the car did 1.38 60 which is 1/100th better than the rubber bushings were yesterday.
Car went straight. So that’s good.
My boy won junior street today. Very happy for him.

What are you doing with the car? Street or strip? 4 link good. Especially if running street.
Like Malex, I probably would have done ladder bar had I known I would just be racing.
