So, I know this is a b-body site. A I said before, we will not be joining the b-body row for quite some time, as the charger restoration has not even begun. But I figured I would share our progress on getting ready for the big Carlisle show. So this evening at 8:15 my stepfather and I, JUST got the c-body with a 318 small block we are taking uncovered for the very first time this year. The car started right up. We took a test drive around the block, and it drove and stopped great after sitting for almost 8 months. Just had to top off the transmission fluid before we went. The oil was black when it was checked so it is time for an oil change, which is happening as we speak. It will definitely be ready for when we leave at 6:30 in the morning on Thursday. Just needs to be dusted off, vacuumed out, detailed, and have the tires checked. How is everyone else getting ready for the show?

I'm taking the Ram down, so I thought I should blow the dust off it. Went and got 2-1/2 cords of beech, maple, hickory, & ash today. She was riding low, but ran like a Swiss Watch ! See You There...

She's a beauty!

Very nice car, but....

Yes and as I said, I know this is a b-body site. The Charger restoration has not even started. Most people DO refer to these cars as boats, or land yachts. FYI, I prefer Carnival Cruise Lines. Hope to see you at the show:)

I would sail that land yacht anywhere, and with pride! That is one fine looking Fury!! My son and I will be leaving Wednesday morning in the ManVan for the trip up to Carlisle, just finished an oil change and oil fluids checked and topped off, tire pressures checked. 21 hour drive ahead....

My first car was a 68 Fury. Loved it and IMO the prettiest year of Fury, crisp clean body lines.
