Home safe & sound. Car performed flawlessly (again).
Traffic wasn't to bad until Hopland which was HORRIBLE stop/go for about 1.25 hrs. Engine heated up to about 200-210* but didn't boil or stall. I MUST get a phenolic spacer on it ASAP. I have one ready but didn't want to mess with car right before trip.
I haven't figured average mpg yet but it will get 14 if I control myself which I didn't on return. Passing lanes too much fun now!

That is so cool. My wife and I visited there about 10 years ago or so. Would love to take my car on a road trip from here in Dayton, over to Astoria OR and down the Oregon coast, through the redwoods, then cut over through Redding and hit hwy. 395 back to home. On my bucket list of things to do someday.
I encourage you to do it.
I think everyone should drive their cars. A lot.
It's like your own rolling car show.
I like driving mine, people seem to like looking at it.
It's a WIN/WIN situation
