1966, 361 Coronet, PVC Valve Color?

Hope this finds you all well. What color, if any, was on the PVC valve on a 361 big block engine in 1966?

Mine was the un-touched steel or aluminum. I always thought that was the way they came.

Thank you. I had a look at the WebSite of After-hours Resto. That guy "says" he is doing museum quality resto s. If so, on a 66 big block charger, he painted the PVC engine color, Turquoise. That said, a buddy of mine who had an original 69 Road Runner 383 said his was "Steel" color. So, perhaps it depended on the day?? You guys are GREAT. Thank you for your help.
