Hi All,

Great forum, just joined. Sorting out my 68 Charger Resto-Mod. Has an 03 Ram 5.7 with a comp cam, long tubes, 05 computer, RMS front and rear suspension, 6 piston Wilwoods, 3:55s, Year One 17s with Nittos, and 2800 stall converter.

Just re-wired the engine harness for the 05 computer, 03 computer did not like the cam. Hotwire set me up with the harness, everything was a perfect fit and length and Chris was awesome with the support.

Currently trying to get the HID headlights working, brights work, but low beams don’t. Seems like it may be the switch, and ideas are most welcomed.

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal - Sweet Charger you have there...

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful......

Engine shots?

Welcome from Alabama. Nice Charger, love those 68's. What transmission are you running?

Would like to find a black powder coat or maybe brushed aluminum AC and Alternator, I think that would make the engine standout a bit more.

I’m gonna get the number wrong, but it is the 5 speed automatic, the 545?
That should get you mid 20's on fuel mileage. I have a 67 Satellite with the 5.7 and a 5 speed manual tremec. Last trip to Mobile Alabama and back she ticked off 28.8 mph. Such a nice driver that I have it torn down now to add A/C. Thanks for the reply.

Welcome from Michigan, nice Charger! 65'

Welcome from Wisconsin! Nice lookin' Charger wirh a great combination of components. Looks akin to mine. As for your low beam headlight issue, I agree with the dimmer switch being the issue unless both bulbs failed. I've had that happen before. Here is a pic of mine.

SD Concepts and CVF racing both offer a black front drive kit. I think CVF even sells the comnponents by themselves on the website. Either should be able get you black accessories.
