do i have to remove the fender to install the inner fenders on a 75 nova ??

I'm pretty sure fender can stay mounted.
We used to take the inner fenders out to lighten the cars more

MOPARs only on this site. Head over to a GM/Generic Motors site instead of here...Just sayin' is all...cr8crshr/Bill:screwy::screwy::screwy::usflag::usflag::usflag:

man, I was just askin.. though someone here might have a little knowledge I could draw on.

If it's an AC car change the plugs with the fender and inner fender off. Otherwise two and four are buried under the compressor and suck to get out.

my buddy is putting it together, had it painted, iner fenders where off when he got it, now it is painted, front fenders on, trying to figure out how to get inner fenders back in

Years ago my friend's 74 split in half when a tow truck picked it up off the side of the road.
After that the inner fenders were accessible.

The last one we painted we put the inners on after paint. Use the 2 bolts the attach to the inner fender brace to hang them and hand tighten all the rest before tightening all the way.

Well, I don't know lol.....but I figure someone here would know. Thought we were all hot rodders and even I've had a few GM cars over the years.

OK...I guess maybe I shouldn't have said it the way I did. I meant that he might get a better feedback on say a Chevy specific site. My apologies if need be...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

Don't think any apologies needed. After all, most who ask about anything other than Mopars know they'll get some push back lol but at least a Mopar guy axed :D

I remember removing my fenders on my Firebird while the wheel wells were still attached. It was a pain to re-attach. I and ended up removing the wheel wells and attaching them to the fenders.

Your sure it's not a Aspen?? lol

The F-body guys will know what I'm talking about.

I bet he wishes it was one of these.
