I know there are no options for the cap replacement but has anyone figured out a way to makes these seal again once the gasket no longer does it's job? Is there a new gasket available? If there is how is it replaced? My cap has an integrated dipstick and its all riveted, it doesn't look like the gasket can be easily replaced.

Your right about it being hard to replace but I'm sure someone on here has tackled this. I've fixed this issue without removing the rivets and potentially destroying the cap. If you get some Oil resistant Buna-N sheet 1/32 x 12 x 12 from McMaster Carr Part number 8635K541 @ $4.82 ea. and some gasket adhesive. Layout your inner and outer diameters and cut with a sharp exacto knife. Clean the old gasket on the cap with acetone and apply the adhesive and press the new donut on to the existing gasket. The cap will go on tight at first but will eventually loosen up after some time, best of all it will keep the oil where its suppose to be. It works but I'm sure someone here will have a better solution short of buying a new cap. Food for thought...

Another member here mentioned in a thread about the same topic that the gasket for the gas cap works, and low and behold, it does. I had the same problem with leaky cap, found a original style gas cap and took the rubber gasket out of it and on to the power steering cap, and so far no leaks.

I'll be damned, I'm pretty sure those fuel caps are available at local part stores. I'm gonna try it. You removed the old gasket from the power steering cap right?

The gasket in the power steering pump cap was shot, it literally almost fell out of the cap, so yes I removed it. It is pinched into the cap, that's how it was made, so the one from a fuel cap I used fit pretty good around the center part of the cap, just like it does on the fuel cap.
