'67 charger, I followed directions in shop manual but can't get window to fit weather strip. put in new regulator and all new rollers. door is flush at beltline. if I roll window up higher it pushes small rubber attached to wing window frame.. yellow tape is top of glass.

top rear of window can be pushed up and down a 1/4" because of glass lift bracket play - is this normal?

It looks to me like your whole vent window assembly needs to be pushed forward just a bit. The gap looks to be a lot larger at the top of the triangle than at the bottom. That would also push the rear of your driver window up and would make that vertical gap at the back even as well.

i'll try that, but I didn't think there was much movement of triangle because of the 2 screws at beltline area.

Try tilting the top of the window in a bit, the adjustments for that are at the bottom of the window channel. If you have access to an FSM there's a bunch of info in there about it. Mine was all kinds of whacked out and I had to adjust it ten ways to Sunday.

Looks like you replaced the roof rail seals too and they don't look right. Looks to me that you will have to roll the window down some to open the door without tearing those seals.

If you put new roof rail seals in, be sure they are on the correct side. You can put the right seal in the left rail and visa versa. Also , there is a allen head screw behind the little rubber plug in the metal part of the inner door panel. Directly below the vent window. You may have to loosen it to adjust your window................MO
