There was a 77 350 rally nova with factory gauge package and buckets/console on CL down here a few weeks ago for like 3K.

Body looked good

almost considered that for a flip

if you look around, youll soon discover many 75 and up novas,in various stages for cheap money.
they dont sell well, and arent exactly in high demand.
soooo...as far as flipping,it would not be a wise choice imo.

I bet someone is interested in a car with what was the highest performance option package for the year

I saw one at a cruise in a few years ago that was a 4 speed

it attracted a crowd

I'm sure most of the crowd was for the 4 speed, but still.....
You just don't see the HiPo version of that body

performance from the mid 70s..
hmm...from gm..lets see, soft cams limp weak motors and crappy transmissions.
yeah those are collectible ( wink )

well,LS and LM motor swaps are where its at now.
again, after 75 those novas just arent wanted by many.
if you feel you can make bank,go for it,
but dont be surprised if you end up sitting on it for Awhile, till the right buyer shows up.....

OK...I guess maybe I shouldn't have said it the way I did. I meant that he might get a better feedback on say a Chevy specific site. My apologies if need be...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:
we cool !

my buddy bought this thing, he is a mopar freak, he currently has , 69 sport fury convertible , 71 gtx 440, 71 RR 383 N96 car, 73 cuda 340, 94 dodge shadow w/360 crate motor, 2004 rumble bee pick up.... and a 75 nova ?? but .. in his defense, his first car was a 75 nova, and well, you know how your always feel about your 1st car

oh, and I forgot his 2006 challenger r/t 39

2.

It seems every Nova I have seen dog tracks one way or the other. Some worse than others.

this one seems to driver straight, but, not tagged yet, so I dont know for sure, but your right, most run down the road sideways, at least its a true SS, 350, buckets and console w/ floor shifter

I sold my nova to a guy in England. 20k

I remember when the STL PD got 77 Nova more doors. 350/4, 400 auto but I don't know the gear ratio.
They surprised many a scofflaw trying to outrun them.
All the cops hated them, especially the big guys for obvious reasons.

Dayton OH had nova cop cars, too

bought them after the run of pontiac colonnade grand am's

odd motor pool in the late 70's for sure

there was a Story there,im not real clear on the details, but apparently bitd, the late 70-s
they were making a Bunch of these novas? in 4 doors with chevy v8-s and 3 speed manual transmissions for somewheres in the mideast?
i remember it because the country stopped buying them and Gm then sold a bunch up in canada? i think and other places for some Crazy good prices.
they were practically giving them away.
they were all Very similar, same drivetrain only difference i think? was the colors.
maybe one of you guys remembers more??

Edit: found it and it was novas And malibus, sorry bout that fellas.
still, unusual cars for sure and some of the commenters on the topic are interesting as well.

With the exception of Iran, US & Canada GM stopped building the 4th Generation Nova on December 22, 1978. Since Iran got a hold of the CKD = Complete knocked Down kits of the Chevrolet Nova, Buick Skylark & Cadillac Seville a year prior to the Iran Revolution, GM Iran aka Pars Khodro started assembling these CKDs on their own assembly line which was briefly disrupted during the Iranian Revolution at least through 1981. Pars Khodro after the Revolution resumed assembly of those Chevrolet Nova, Buick Skylark & Cadillac Seville at least through late 1987. The very interesting aspect about this was they also built a unique version of the Chevrolet Nova in which the grille was somewhat a combination of the 1976-78 Chevrolet Nova and Buick Skylark as shown on this photo alongside the regular Nova & Skylark which we were accustomed in seeing here in the US. In addition, the other notable unique standard feature of this Nova were its gas tank filler cap area was located behind the rear passenger curbside door instead of its usual customary spot by the rear license plate underneath the trunk lid everywhere else

75s were not unibodies? That would make removing inner wells difficult without some frame work.
