How much do you think a m/t street radial grows at 120mph? Mine are 30in sitting still, what could I expect in growth? Worried about clearance..

My guess would be..... not as much as a bias slick, not as much as you would think. I would bet that Mickey Thompson knows, why not ask them?

Here is a video of my c6 corvette at a half mile event. It will give you a pretty good idea about how much you can expect the tire to grow. Keep in mind, my Vette was running about 165mph in these runs. This was a Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radial. The size of the tire escapes me at this time. Skip to about 6:15 in the video to see the run.

a tire on a narrower rim & much more sidewall
may grow more, considerably
like a 7"-8" wide rim
with a tire (like a 325/60/15) meant for a 9"-10" rim
becomes a more active sidewall
the rim width is a bit/part of the equation

that was an old school trick, years gone by, to get a little mph
& still have a wide contact patch
I suspect it's far less with radials too

but it's like less than an 1" on a wider rim at speed 150+
look at the video @ksurfer2 posted,
it didn't grow much on that wide rim/low profile design tire
