Yeah...it’s not inserted into the vent frame channel....my bet is the plastic sliders are not on the front of the glass..

Again my thread and other threads in the build section detail this nicely.....All you have to do is take a minute and search...

Having re-installed all the glass and hardware in my'63 after resto, the glass has to be set into and riding in the channels...the vent window on mine is attached to the front channel, as assembled. I removed it as a set without separating it until I had it out for later refurbishing. Maybe your car is different though; but looks as though this isn't assembled. As you say this doesn't change the problem? Tossing out a few possibilities: Check to determine if the regulator is bolted in correctly and the gear/linkage is set to obtain a uniform up/down scissors action with that hardware. Also check the glass attachment points. Before torqueing all down, have the assembly set hand tight to see if there is any binding going on and also gentle shifting that can be done to find a correct set. I thought it wise, as I removed the hardware to re-install it as it had been taken out, (taking some photos of each assembly for my future reference) a habit I have with taking stuff apart with the handy iPhone camera...

It's plain to see that the window is not in the track.
