My charger restoration dream car

I have been working on trying to fit the front clip on my car. My painter said that he had pre-fitted the fenders and good and that everything fit well. I have not been so lucky. I can’t seem to get them to fit right with the revile. I have had to custom ream holes and shims. I have taken the fenders off and on many times and will do it many more times before I am done. I am getting better reveals now.

Yep, all 17 feet of her :poke:
Looks awesome brother!

My wheels came today. I finally made a decision. These might make the old school guys cringe but I quite like them. I think I would like to lower the car some. It seems to set a little high.
They are 225/50 R 17s I ordered from performance plus tire.

I like the rims and tires but I think that I need bigger tires on the rear. They just look small in that big wheel well.

rims are cool but agree bigger sidewalls would fill up the rear wheel well for sure. you can use the new old back one's for burnout practice.

This represents a full day of work today. I had a friend help me and we finally got the fenders and hood mounted and aligned best we could.

Trailered my car and took it to town today and got mufflers installed and a wheel alignment.
I Decided on Flowmaster 50’s. I like the sound and it isn’t loud in the cab.

I spent the time this morning and finished bolting down the fenders and installing the splash shields.

This was the car that was tailgating me all day yesterday.

I can see the light! I’m getting pretty excited now. I remember years ago watching many members on this site finishing their projects and thinking that was so far away and feeling like I would never get there. I still have many things to finish and work the bugs out but my pile of parts is very small now.
I was able to install my grill, bumper, and valence this afternoon.

Awesome you did a really great job on your car! She looks sweet!
Can't wait to be at that step with my bird!

I finally installed the center console and front seats. I still need to bolt in the seatbelts.

Looks great! What are you going to do with all your free time once you're all done?
