A two blade fanning system

We had the coolest, wet winter I ever remember here on the coast. And summer has been awesome if you enjoy the cooler weather as well. We’ve only had a couple of days over 80* otherwise it’s been in the low to mid 70* range all summer. It’s normally hot this time of year. This year has been a study in contrasts here in the bio dome we call SoCal.

It's soo hot here I saw a dog chasing a cat and they were both walking.

Nice in my shop today.

The media ******* when it's -10 in January and blame it on Global Warming and then now it's 94 in July and blame it on Global Warming again.......so can I blame Global Warming for the f^&king chipmunks tearing up my property this summer!:elmer:.....RC is right:drinks:
Hank, They report the news. Try and find a unbiased media outlet may be tough, but what would I suggest is research and reading. With the internet today its so easy. I haven't gotten into so much as far as reading but so far what I read shows temperatures in the Arctic are changing. Im not talking about a unusual hot summer in Alaska but changes in sea levels and stuff like that.
As a kid we use to look forward to ice skating and sledding. It was winter and we loved it. I cannot tell you how many years its been since the local pond in a nearby park froze over enough to ice skate. Its been at least three decades. The harbor on the south shore of the island often froze over, not every winter but with a cold winter it happened. The last time I recall it freezing over was the winter on 1976/77.
To completely deny and Global warming is really being kind of blind. Not to say I agree with tree hugging alarmist's but there is changes and its a direct relationship to our environment and how we treat it.
A little off subject is pollution in our water ways. The New York harbor was filthy at one time, now its vastly improved with strict environmental regulations. Ive witnessed it myself.

Did 6 non stop hours welding burning outside no shade, 100 degrees, high humidity is the killer.
At 67 im ashamed to admit I couldn't make 8. I drank two gatoraids and four bottles of water. Heart was racing and I got dizzy a few times and had to sit down for a few minutes.
The heat was like a pizza oven but its the humidity and sun I cant take. The heat I can usually handle the sun I cant anymore. I use to have a system that worked were I had a five gallon pal of clean water and a towel. Id soak the towel cover my head and neck and I was good to go.
No more im just washed up.....

Naw if you were 'washed up' you'd of been done after 1 hour!... I learned years ago doing street and signal work in our lovely summers to drink lots early when you don't really want it. Still serves me well on the job and on bike rides/runs..

Of course, those in favor of the Green New Deal are blaming it on human's effect on the planet. We have had an exceptionally cold spring and cool summer. I was looking at the forecast and the HIGH on Monday is 69 degrees.
Are you suggesting climate change is not occurring? Sorry, but it is. Did we really believe burning coal and crude would have no long-term effects? Please. The science is so overwhelming that the sane needs to ignore the data deficient. This doesn't mean the end of classic car or motorsports. It does mean a move towards more efficient and greener electric generation and mass transit. Those two are 90+% of all emissions. Besides. Have you seen the torque curve of electric cars? Far superior to internal combustion. Once battery storage becomes cost efficient? Internal combustion will be obsolete. It's economics and market capitalism. It's going to win. And so will solar. Way too much energy hitting the planet every second to ignore. We can either lead in the new economy? Or watch China, Germany and/or India pass us like a Hellcat on a Camero.

Not US here
been really mild for this part of Calif.

if it was a global phenomenon
wouldn't it be a global issue,
some are really a special kind of stupid

IMO it's a nice change, been trending cooler
regionally, it's not global

as long as it isn't snowing & raining for months on end
like it did this year

we have had one of the mildest springs & summers
so far the I can remember for my 60 years
we've had a couple 90*+ days but for the most part mid-hi 80*'s
normal is high 90*'s + to 100* + this time of year
for days on end

not this year "YET"

It was so hot in Jersey even the Racoons were losing their minds. One was changing my wife's oil, the other was ROTFL, the 3rd was taking a sponge bath and eating some kibble.

Went to a local car show today, the GTX got a little warm on the way home here in MI.

Since the beginning of time its been hotter and its been colder. Don't be a sucker and believe al goor and that bunch who have a consensus that the earth will burn up in twelve years like they have been saying for the past thirty years.

I know, I like to push the envelope. When I start to exert myself and its after im really sweating worn down thats when the slight dizziness starts and I know I have to get water and rest for awhile. The leg cramps come tonight and there violent. I have this stuff you rub on your legs which really helps. Sucks to get old LOL.

Yes getting old does suck. I really didn't notice a slow down till I hit 45, but now I work a little smarter than I used to.

Do you get the hamstring spasms? They are the worst, just move your leg into flexion a little too far and it feels like a balloon or a rock is in there. Sheer agony.
