It will be a B/SA 415 HP Max Wedge.not crazy what class are you going to run in
Max wedge takes enough money. Can't imagine a Hemi cost!Could be worse!! You could have HEMI-ITIS
There is nothing at your local track to look good in?Very nice. You are sooo right. Running in a NHRA stock class is ruff and costs plenty jing-a-ling.
NSS/A would be nice. I can't afford to run NHRA Stock or Super Stock class any more and keep up with the rules.
Now I'm looking at the Southeast Gassers Assoc. Sure looks like fun and affordable.Too bad for me it's on the other side of the country.
I second the good old days. I did freshen the motor but kept the same Lunati cam, better head gaskets, etc. Not trying to keep up with the unlimited budget guys. It has and will go under the index, just not the fastest heads up car. It's a fun ride. There is the Midwest Class racers here, so some of that. Maybe a nostalgic race or two. NHRA has priced me out of the points meets. Just want it to be NHRA legal for whatever reason. So I can run the Midwest Class Racer meets around here.Vegas used to be fun, management changes over the years kinda dulled it some. PSCA/SCSN comes to town.I just don't have anything to compete. I have been looking into nostalgia racing out west. We'll see.
Not taking away anything ,Just saying that to be competitive in NHRA cost is out of my ball park.
Maybe the local bracket racing.Been awhile since I did that.I'm getting really nostalgic lately and miss the mom&pop tracks of my younger days back east. Oh the glory days.
It will be an NHRA legal B/SA car. That proves I must be nuts! You must meet the rules and requirements of the NHRA to race at any NHRA sanctioned track.
