Squirrels are a nuisance around here . Magpies dont like them .

I have a neighbor that shoots them....but he has a tree growing though the middle of his house! They don't bother me any at all....in fact, I have 3 rodents as pet prairie dogs and they are really cool but what bird likes squirrels lol. Dang mocking birds hate everything but themselves and they fight with each other all the time.

I wish I lived in Texas so's I could shoot some wild ferrel hogs! I ve seen some
video's on youtube and moving targets are what I live for.

Oh man, freakin hogs are a huge problem here....a lot more than any squirrel. The Texas monument and battle field isn't that far from me (8 miles maybe) and the grounds have been all torn up from them. It's nuts!!

Living up north in Illinois, it's hard to believe that with all you Good-ole-Boys down there,
all of the hogs would have been long gone by now! Yeah, I hear they reproduce faster than rabbits.

I've watched squirrels steal and eat each other's babies. I worked in a park, and saw lots of weird things with wildlife.

They are not as easy to 'get' as some would think. My BIL and a friend of his has been hunting them for a few years now and I hear some of the good stuff lol. They are pretty smart and you have to out smart them and it's usually in the middle of the night if you want to get more than just one. One guy I know has an 880 acre tree farm and he's always trying to get them because they do so much damage including uprooting fairly new saplings. If the trees are not 8' tall, they are fair game to them. They suck!

Most rodents do that....it's about control mostly. Sometimes a new mama's babies are a threat to another if they think their pups might be pushed aside.

I've always heard that Red Squirrels, which are the little ones are incredibly territorial and will attack bigger species such as Fox Squirrels by biting their nuts, and I don't mean their stash lol.

Last week a read about a squirrel attack and now I am seeing this, geez this animal is getting savage.

Come on down I'll take you hog hunting ! These things aren't easy to get and God help you if you miss they are mean sob's guy I worked with had one come threw his yard riped up 2 dogs and his pit got involved the hog injured the pit where he died but the pit did the same to the hog ! They tracked that hog for a mile or so before they found it dead !

Funny story guy I knew near my old shop went black powder hunting and cake across a hog ! I told him before he left not to try a hog with a single shot weapon! Well he didn't kill it and it tore him the hell up he finally stabbed it to death! He was in hospital for a week after that hog got him !

30+ years ago I had a buddy that liked to go hogging... I was fine with it cause I needed to get rid of the hogs so I could go after the good looking girl that always hung out with the hogs...LOL..

Yeah, I know they're not easy marks! I just can't believe there are so many of them. I don't
go hunting with a single shot weapon. too much can happen too fast, and if I were hunting
hogs, I'd need a 357 for a backup. don't want one of those buggers gnawing on me!
